I signed up for a free code.blog domain to see what the onboarding on WordPress.com was like and how they Gutenberg.

I think the Calypso interface is really cool. Much cleaner than WordPress. I was pretty impressed by how hard it is to find the free tier when creating a new site. It’s hard to find, but it’s there. Smart.

Figuring out how to get to the new .blog sub domain was tricky. I meant to go back and see if they had josh.code.blog but I was afraid I’d loose the option.

I’ve been meaning to migrate JoshPress.net to WordPress.org so I can stop worrying about updates and stuff. I was going to do it earlier this year, but they didn’t have Gutenberg on here yet. Will try and get it moved over in December.
